1. About KartRacer

KartRacer is a software platform that enables kart racers, families, and teams to upload telemetry data, analyze lap performance, and receive AI-generated coaching. The service is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use KartRacer. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login with others or allow unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use KartRacer only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload data you do not own or have the right to use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Use the service to harass, deceive, or harm others
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access another user's data
• Use automated tools to bulk access or stress-test the platform without prior written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all telemetry files, session data, and content you upload to KartRacer. By uploading content, you grant KartRacer a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service for you.

We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. AI coaching and accuracy

KartRacer uses AI to generate coaching reports based on your uploaded telemetry. These reports are informational and educational in nature. They do not constitute professional coaching advice and should not be the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies. You use coaching content at your own discretion.

6. Beta access and billing

KartRacer is currently free to use during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If and when billing is introduced, we will provide advance notice via email and publish updated terms. Existing beta users will be offered a migration path with reasonable notice before any charges apply.

7. Service availability

We work to keep KartRacer available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We are not liable for losses resulting from service downtime.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the application. Continued use of KartRacer after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KartRacer and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury. Our total liability to you for any claim related to KartRacer will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $0 if you are on the free beta).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
